iCloud sync fails on cellular/mobile data

If you encounter the error “Error checking for updates” with iCloud sync while on cellular/mobile data, ensure that:

  1. Cellular/Mobile Data is enabled in iOS Settings > Due:
    DueCellular.png
  2. iCloud Drive is enabled in iOS Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data:
    iCloudDriveCellular.png
